hello guys I need some opinion's on my dilemma
(English is not my first language sorry in advance)

anyways...i want to get back into the modding game, ever since i sold my highly modded Rx7 FD 4 years ago because reasons, ive been regretting it everyday. and right now the bug has hit me harder then ever!!

i have 16K on the side for just fun stuff and i would like to use it to get right back in it.

my first few options is to buy one that's already modded and go from there
(since ive been there done that and i don't really want to waste much time building it my self anymore) at least i know if the built was with quality or monkey wrenched, and i can steer clear of the latter. my options are the usual , Rx7 FD/FC, 300zx TT MR2 turbo? 90s NSX? or, a supra MKiv ( i rather not, even though i love to have one but the price is just too damn high for a good built one, even a stockish good condition one runs about 30K+ )
i would also consider EVO9mr's, or 06~09 STIs but i rather not go that route

with that being said, if i do decide to buy in on either the above options, i would most likely sell my Z and buy a new Honda fit or versa as a DD
sock away 50% of the money i get and then added onto the above fund or depend on the car i get , the full amount will go right on top of the 16K

OR here is the Big OR

i can keep the Z and mod the Z and still buy a new DD so i can retire the Z of its DD duty for the pass 6 years.

the only thing that's holding me back for this option is that my Z has high mileage. and the exterior has seen some major sand blasting poo over the years. I'm talking about sand blasted front bumper wind shield side mirror cover and half of the hood, pretty much the entire front end is sand blasted.
the only reason i never took care of it is because its my DD and if i do try to keep it super clean, that would require me repaint it ever year after winter.
( the Z i bought new Nov 2010 and with driving till the wheels fall off in mind)

it haves 125k miles and counting. however, with the really bad exterior. i made sure my entire drivetrain is well taken care of . always did the
service according to Nissan server calendar ,never skipped a maintenance, oil / air filter change every 3.5~4.5k miles with mobile1 0w40,all fluid change
brake job , new rotors, pads every time . nothing ever failed on me besides the master/slave at 120k miles decided to take a dump. and when Nissan drop the transmission they said my clutch didn't need replacement cause it looks almost new with no hot spots at all ( which really surprised me along with the service manager since its the STOCK clutch ). only thing that is happening lately at around 123k is that my RPM would drop about 200 ( from 7~800 to 500 and right back up ) for a split second, which is kind of annoying. all done at my local Nissan in palmsprings. and all documented .

now.... whats bugging me is that if i do mod the z , i would go FI
and i don't know if i should go FI with the current engine being so high mileage . and to be honest , i don't know if i should spend all my penny on just going FI( with out internal upgrade and other supporting mods, i would like to have some $ left to do a repaint and mod other things such as more suspension work and maybe wheels.? am i asking for too much ? and with Z parts being so expensive( i would be sad if i do go FI and engine blows on me right away and another engine is so expensive lol) , its one of the reason why i rather go older 90s cars and cheaper cars like evo and sti

my goal if i go FI is to be above 350rwhp closer to 400 . so SC or TT either option works. and i would love to repaint it and getting some not so expensive good looking wheels. i can also just keep the RAYS.
I don't know how to rates and prices are for the SC and TT kits out there but last time I check it was around 11k+ for GTM TT kits installed at GTM shop , that's with out internal upgrades

so..... any opinion is appreciated thanks
