I think your insurance gonna have to pay. I assume you have full coverage. and this is clearly not your fault so your rate should not go up either. When

I think your insurance gonna have to pay. I assume you have full coverage. and this is clearly not your fault so your rate should not go up either. When I had my truck, some guy carrying junk fell off and hit my truck causing $8k damage and never stopped. I filed police report and my insurance paid for it all without increasing my rate.
