I like you Dad, but that's a bogus stat. 80% of immigrants? Do you have any idea how many "immigrants" live in California? Perhaps you meant illegal immigrants...

Regardless, even illegal immigrants come from many countries other than Mexico, so to call the drivers in this instance "Mexicans" as a stereotypical reaction isn't right, unless of course they were Mexican.
