So then are we saying that the other side is too tight?
![]() The rubber grommetS, both top and bottom, are ther for expansion. Right, wrong or indifferent, the other side should never so loose that it clicks. I have fixed mine and both sides are now equal in tightness. |

No what I am saying is that a radiator has to be mounted in such a way to allow it to expand as the car warms up. Perhaps this is the reason for the "loose" connection and it is not a defect.
