They are not hard to change with the proper tools/equipment.

This all depends on what the car is going to be used for.

For performance driving:
Front sway bar (as stiff as you can get)
Clutch-type LSD

and most importantly...

tighten the nut behind the wheel.

Your first week behind the wheel, and your DIY chops, will likely dictate your first project.

For me, it was a swap of the factory audio head-unit, followed by sound-deadening the trunk.

Exhaust work is way out of my league, but I'm currently working towards replacing the anemic-sounding stock exhaust.

So far, I find the Z has more than enough power to keep me entertained, so upping torque is something I will likely leave until much later, if ever.

As has been said, it's all about your personal priorities.

Deadening the trunk? Only? Why not all the wheel wells and all that jazz

[Official] Which 1st mod(s) for my Z thread.

It's a sticky, dude. Read threads before making new ones. This forum has been around long enough to already have the answers to your questions. We don't need a new thread for each instance of a new member asking an old question.

The rear area is where most of the road noise comes from. The rear wheel wells are usually considered part of the job. The rear is also pretty easy to access - not so much the doors, &c.
