The wheels on the red 350 are Advan RS.

Congrats. Use a higher octane gasoline. Remember; it's better to pay more for gas now than to pay more to a mechanic down the road. Always check the for sale thread on the forum. There are some great deals on wheels.

Use the highest octane you can find - as others have said, 93 (or greater) seems to be best, especially if you live in a warm area and/or drive hard. The engine will do fine on 91 in most DD situations but you may get some knocking when merging onto the freeway. The ECM will pull timing if it detects knock, so, unless you are running really low octane, you shouldn't do any serious damage ... but why take a chance when the difference in price is pennies?

As long as you stick with the major brands, the condition of the stations' tanks and other pumping equipment will have more to do with the quality of gas than the signs out front.

Use 93 is you have it available. Some has stations only go as high as 91.

High octane is required for our cars.

I hope you have more options than me. With North Dakota being the wasteland that it is I only have access to 91, but have had no issues with it thus far.

Alright then, and so for us folks in the US or in cities/states that don't use 93 should we be buying octane boosters constantly? Or is it just best to go with an e85 conversion.

Anyone have a link to an E85 discussion? I was told by a tuner that you can simply buy a bigger pump and tune the Z to be flex fuel w/o the use of bigger fuel injectors, nor turbos since our cars naturally do very well with it. Also, he was saying you can just send more fuel to the injectors on the 40th anniversary?

91 is correct. 93 will provide no advantages in our NA engines.

You're tuner is an idiot if he's telling you the 40ths are magical creatures that are different then every other 370Z out there in that their injectors will accept more fuel let alone 85 without mods.

I can't speak first hand on the Z but the car in my sig requires fuel pumps, injectors, rail, full exhaust, might as well throw in intakes, and a tune to run 85. Oh and it's not just set it and forget it because you never know what **** gas you're getting.
