I have a boofsquire in mint condition (no, I'm not selling) because after I purchased it, I realized that I could fit my Cannondale 54cm CAAD8 inside my Z. Cover

Cover the strut brace with cloths/towels, take off both wheels, and put the bike in handle bars first, twisted to face up, chain & cassette topside. The front of the bike will rest on the strut, the back of the bike will fit inside the hatch, clearing the glass. Place another cloth or towel on top of the brakes/shifters because the glass will touch when you close the hatch (important if you've got tinting). Place the wheels on top of the bike. You won't have any other room for storage, though, except for the passenger seat. Keeping the rack in the hopes that I'll make that ski trip I've been meaning to go on for years. |
