Went to the dealership last week, and the service guy handling it said there was a fix and he ordered me a new ecu straight up without asking to listen

Went to the dealership last week, and the service guy handling it said there was a fix and he ordered me a new ecu straight up without asking to listen to it. It was a first after many attemtps to get someone to fix it. I asked bumblez, another user on this forum cause he said he had gotten it fixed at a dealership in richmond, va and i called up the guy. Was going to use him as a reference at my dealership but like I said he just ordered a new part straight up. I am so relieved now !
