Trade Maybe?

If it doesn't make any impact in your finacials, then yes do it. Hell you have a base, upgrading to a Sport is a while other animal.

I don't think sport is a whole other animal... the only differences are brakes and VLSD, which can both be had for ~$2200 total.

You could also buy the Nismo aero for ~$1500 plus paint and have your car look the same. Seats on the other hand...

There is no point of having this car without a VLSD

Until your VLSD wears out and becomes an open diff anyway... It's definitely not an end all be all performance upgrade in this car. Sure it's a lot better (before it stops working better) but it's not even close to a "real" diff.

Or just change the fluid regularly, and the VLSD doesn't wear out.

Actually you can't change the viscous fluid from what I understand, it's separate from the diff fluid.

I actually didn't know that, but perusing the forum seems to confirm what you say. I guess it's upgrade time when I hit 60k!

the VLSD won't wear out for 60-70k miles a real sports car should indeed have one. this isn't a one tire fire that open diff you have is night and day vs the stock vlsd. and i know this because i also have a base, and the open diff is poop
