Yes, there are a few here in Chicago...nothing like San Fransisco of course. That hand brake trick saves me every time. Especially since I usually have some damn SUV parked right on my ***. Also handy in our underground parking garages. The inclines exiting them were obviously not designed with manual transmissions in mind.
