Nissan lighting idea:
I had the thought of adding the cube interior (20 color) lighting kit to my Z floorboard area. For those well versed in electrical modifications, do you think this would be a realistic/tangible project? I had thought about mounting the switch in the blank for the convertible between the heated seats. I will probably keep it on the orange/amber most of the time but thought it would be a nice option to have the other 19 colors at my disposal as well. Please let me know your thoughts.

if its a pre-made kit for the cube that you plan to jerry-rig to fit your 370z, then yes thats a very easy project. All your doing is adding power and ground, and then a switch.
if your going to make it up from scratch, then its a bit harder. |

Yes it's an option Nissan offers for the cubes. I thought it would be simple and should be of a quality make. I thought with all the lighting mods around here someone would have already done this. Anyone attepmted this out there?

For anyone looking to do interior mods such as this, before checking Nissan, and paying their Dealer prices...
Look at LEDs - underbody kits, cathodes, flexible LED strips, dome lights Great deals and prices! Quick shipping too, that's where I got my interior lighting for my tC from.

I was only considering a floorboard illumination. I don't want to make it to look like a UFO. Besides the 370 already has overhead illumination built in.
