Nissan lighting idea:
I had the thought of adding the cube interior (20 color) lighting kit to my Z floorboard area. For those well versed in electrical modifications, do you think this would be a realistic/tangible project? I had thought about mounting the switch in the blank for the convertible between the heated seats. I will probably keep it on the orange/amber most of the time but thought it would be a nice option to have the other 19 colors at my disposal as well. Please let me know your thoughts.

if its a pre-made kit for the cube that you plan to jerry-rig to fit your 370z, then yes thats a very easy project. All your doing is adding power and ground, and then a switch.
if your going to make it up from scratch, then its a bit harder. |
Yes it's an option Nissan offers for the cubes. I thought it would be simple and should be of a quality make. I thought with all the lighting mods around here someone would have already done this. Anyone attepmted this out there?

Looking at courtesyparts.com it seems to be a few simple light bars with a power plug. Definitely a one star DIY.

For anyone looking to do interior mods such as this, before checking Nissan, and paying their Dealer prices...
Look at LEDs - underbody kits, cathodes, flexible LED strips, dome lights Great deals and prices! Quick shipping too, that's where I got my interior lighting for my tC from. |
Def has some cool accessories at that site.
