I think total time was 15 minutes. If he had to do it again, 5 minutes. It is like any other interior piece, it has 4 attachments that snap in. Snap that out, connect the wire, and snap back in. If the dealer really wants to push to pay for 3 hours, buy it and do it yourself or ask to watch them do it.
