LOL this reminds me of the G35 heated seats fiasco when it first came out. Rumors swirled that all the wiring and such for the heated seats were in all the leather seat models and all you needed was to install the switches and connect it up. It turned out to be false and I'm not saying that's the same thing here with the kick plates, but this reminded me of the million post thread on that topic.
