From what I've experienced with any body parts from fly1 to aerojacket a 3-4 month wait is to be expected. I just forget I even ordered them or it will eat at me every time a week goes by and I still have thousands of dollars floating around out there. Haha

I'm waiting on a CF SS hood and CF RS1 Fenders from Fly1 right now haha coming up on a month and a half or so and I should be picking up next week or so though. Then again when they are shipping it after getting it its a different story haha, I'm local to both Aerojacket and Fly1 Motorsports. Still have to forget about ordering the stuff sometimes though like your were saying :rofl2:

As for Aerojacket sending a bogus tracking number, that's bad form and I, personally or business-like, do not support Rich's decisions at this point :wtf2:
I've tried contacting him via text and called him and the first time, even tried to see if he would take an order for an answer and nothing. So I don't know what else I can do at this point. Even drove by the shop sometimes during my lunch break to see if their garage is open and they have it closed, even during the day. Do not know if they are keeping it closed on purpose or they are just literally aren't there. I haven't heard of them moving. I know Fly1 Motorsports recently moved from Gardena, CA to La Habra, CA but that's a different story. I would let paypal take your claims the way they do process them. Seems like the only rational way at this point.

Sorry guys

ka24king 01-12-2016 11:53 AM

At least fly 1 sort of keeps in contact at least enough for me not to be concerned. I should be getting my fenders this week. I ordered them sept 28. But we have had SEMA and a bunch of holidays between that time

neveucd 01-12-2016 11:59 AM

Yea there's absolutely no reason to justify Aerojacket lying to the customer (me) for the past two months regarding my bumper being shipped and then providing a tracking number to paypal as part of a claim investigation that doesn't even work. I think they are just wasting time until the claim period elapses or keeps getting extended. Paypal pushed it out another week for AJ to respond with a new one. This is stupid. I don't even bother contacting them directly anymore.

major issue with AEROJACKET.... anyone heard from them lately or had similar ...

I waited two months or less when dealing with Fly1 regarding my rear bumper shipment, and Lohit was constantly keeping me informed (and that's with returning one that wasn't to the quality I wanted). Only reason I didn't go that route, was because of price. I know where I f'ed up now.

I know Lohit personally at Fly1 Motorsports and he is always spot on with everything, customer service, updates, and pics of quality if there are any imperfections as well.

I guess the saying "You get what you pay for" is true. That's why after the okay experience with Aerojacket and my Type 3 CF Duckbill spoiler, I went with Fly1 from there on out.

What they get you for Max? File a Paypal claim yet?

blak max 01-12-2016 02:42 PM

well my situation is a little different. Ive taken them on as a sponsor. I ordered parts and had a fuji bumper dropped off to them to have everything shipped over to me on the eastcoast .. communication slowed down and may have stopped

Well as a sponsored car they'll probably be willing to work with you still and stuff, but with all this BS that has arose, it could be taking a lot longer than suspected. I would definitely keep trying Rich in your situation though. If you need me to make a stop at the Aerojacket shop for you let me know. I am local to them and could handle parts for you if you don't trust Aerojacket from what you have read.

What makes me trustworthy compared to Aerojacket which is a business, well I've probably helped out with this mess on this forum more than Aerojacket will at this point with sending fake Tracking numbers. Plus I have picked up and shipped a couple things for people already. Got there safe and sound. Have another one this weekend on Saturday. Going to pick up front camber arms for another forum member and shipping them for him. The buyer is willing to pay shipping, its not like money is coming out of my pocket, but I'll always do what I can to help especially if someone is out of state. Already made a couple trips by the shop to see if their garage is open but no success yet.

Just let me know if you need me to run by the shop for your or anything like that Max.

blak max 01-12-2016 02:58 PM

k thanks. i sent them another e-mail.. i ordered Dec 4th

No problem brotha,
I ordered 2 CF parts from Fly1 Motorsports on Dec. 2nd and am still waiting on those so I don't know how close to completion they are for you yet if you ordered Dec 4th. Although I am expecting parts for pickup either next week or the week after.

Just keep me updated.

I just checked my PayPal account for the resolution center for an open claim and there's nothing there ..... Even PayPal screwed me, this nightmare won't end.

You called them and tried filing the claim? Due to it being through the Gift route it may not show up in your paypal account it may go to a special department. I'd call paypal again and make sure the claim has been filed for you at least and it is still active.

Should also try for a claim number and a claim handlers name

neveucd 01-14-2016 05:31 PM

The it's a miracle update: despite a non working tracking number, AJ finally came through and my bumper & lip showed up today in workable condition.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ce5c0da512.jpg

I guess all it takes is paypal claims harassment for a refund, as was previously stated. I'll close mine. Hope they can do the same for op.

I saw Rick at my shop 168 Motoring yesterday and talked to him a bit about missing orders for some friends of mine. He is still currently working on getting orders out to people from what I understand. Although this is happening slower than customers would like.
He is also very aware of this thread. Now that neveucd has received his bumper hopefully the OP will be receiving his parts here soon.

I thought you got your Amuse bumper back in December! Did you just barely get around to checking it or did you reject the shipment back then or something else? This is exactly what happened to me, and it took them another 2-3 months to send another one. If you are still within the PayPal window, file a claim to escalate the issue asap. It will put them on notice, and PayPal will only give them a limited time to respond before deducting funds from their account. Email AJ pictures of the damage and keep record of all conversations. Spam their Facebook, email and PayPal with messages.

:iagree: Can't say much more about it. If you guys bought it on a Credit Card dispute the charge and have it refunded. I'd do everything that they said above though. That's all you can do. Eventually you will get your money back or a part from AJ. That seems to be the only way to reason with Rich now. :shakes head:

blak max 02-15-2016 08:13 PM

They said on the 5th that my stuff was picked up that day (and I'd be contacted min)but I haven't gotten any contact from the shipping company

Pauly Z 02-16-2016 11:04 AM

This is really messed up!! I just sent a fb message to Aerojacket stating that I was interested in the DF1 Diffuser. I received a message back from them within 10 minutes. Seems like they are quick to take your money but could give two sh*** about you after that. I am glad I saw this before pulling the trigger. :wtf2:

arfkh 02-16-2016 11:51 AM

i ordered full amuse kit with wings from AJ on 23/12/2015. before that they were really quick to response. but same thing with the rest of the guys, after payment was made, everything slowed down really bad. i had to send multiple messages until they finally replied me.

even worse i live in Asia which i suspect will take even longer time for them to ship. it has been nearly two months now and no signs of them wanting the get my items on the plane for shipment.

the recent one was that they last told me last week that my package is now being scan at US Custom and can take up to two weeks before they can release it. i suspect that could be a lie from them to buy time, based on what i already read on this thread.

still contemplating whether i should get a refund soon from paypal. god knows whether they are telling the truth or otherwise.

Make sure you don't wait too long and figure out when the deadline to file a claim is. That way you can make a claim the day before your deadline. Hopefully you paid with the Goods and Services and made him pay the 3%. Otherwise this could be a bit rough for you, claim services when paid through sending money to friends or family give very little effort due to their claim guidelines.

yup i did pick goods and services, and ive got until May before i decide to file a claim. hopefully my package will arrive well before that. thanks for the tips!

you mentioned 3%. does that mean he has to pay an extra of 3% of the total payment i made to them on paypal if i were to claim back?

Fly1 Motorsports has no affiliation to Aerojacket and is still a Forum Sponsor and Lohit is great with customer service! I will be ordering many more parts from him myself.

He would have to refund you the money that was given to him. So no at that point that 3% doesn't get refunded I believe ( don't quote me lol ). That is because that is paypal's cut for letting people do business through paypal. I would ask paypal themselves when/if you file a claim.

Say your order was $3000 shipped. 3% would be $90, so Rich at Aerojacket would have gotten $2910 out of it. The $2910 would also be the money refunded to you in the scenario of a claim and when you get the money refunded.
If you also file a claim and you get your money back and he has shipped the parts and get them you do have to ship the parts back to California to keep your money. Otherwise you have to pay them again.

I went ahead and file a claim. In order to get my refund back I have to ship out the bumper. Sooo looks like I have to spend more money on a bumper for shipping purposes.
I'd figure the cost of shipping the bumper would be a couple hundred dollars and Paypal states that a confirmation with signature at delivery is needed for full refund.
Greyhound would be the cheapest but does not deliver at the door. I was thinking of just getting it repaired, Do yall know if bodyshops can repair a crack bumper??

Zbrah 02-16-2016 03:21 PM

If you paid for something and not getting a tracking number or any responses to your messages after a couple weeks . FILE A DAMN PAYPAL claim already! They can still process your shipment but at least that should get their attention, and you are guaranteed to a refund via PayPal if it doesn't shipped. It's common sense guys!

Depends on the damage, but yes most reputable body shops can repair fiber glass. You should have checked and rejected the shipment when it got to you, and turn the truck right back around to them. That way you wouldn't have to come out of pocket to return the damaged one. I guess lesson learned. I guess the alternative option is to wait for them to send a new bumper/truck and put the damaged one on that truck.....but we all know how that's going to go. They will likely wait it out, to just before your claim expires.

mrcoolguyface 02-17-2016 08:13 AM

Me too

Never saw this, wish I had...

I Ordered a duckbill on January 6th, the wait begins lol.
I sent an email to AJ on 01/25/2016 and received a response a few hours later. The response was undoubtedly erroneous, but a response none the less.

Their response read as follows.

"going out this week, and once ups pick up the tracking will be send to your email
thank you"

No further communication from them since. I also emailed them on 2/3 and 2/11 and this morning... No responses since.

arfkh 02-17-2016 09:58 AM

filed an escalated claim by paypal today.

two months of waiting and no tracking number given is just unacceptable. i dont want to deal with AJ anymore.

yeah the sad thing is I wasnt home when they delivered it so couldnt really do anything about that. this guy should not do any business

TonyZ34 02-18-2016 10:44 AM

Man, I wish I could just take over for them or something. My buddy ordered a duckbill from them and it was good. But this was like a year ago when they actually cared about their customers .____.

axmea? 02-18-2016 01:28 PM

I feel sick to my stomach reading all this. I have not had any bad experience with Aerojacket and really wish him the best so he can get out of this deep hole he is in. Sorry to all of you who had a disastrous experience and hope he remedies this for you.
