Getting a Z soon!! :)

Cool sports car no doubt, but be prepared for it to feel "slow" if you're used to v8 muscle. It's deceptively quick though so watch your speed if you don't

everyone else hit the nail. shop around to feel out the prices and then when you see the one you want you'll know it's the one.

my experience was shopping around and then i saw one pop up in the last minute. i ended up buying that one!

oh one more thing that wasn't mentioned... if you can hold out until fall/winter you may be able to strike a better deal as owners want to off them.

I tend to agree the base Z looks a bit plain. Still a nice car though. NISMO body kit FTW.

370z Rules:
1. Do not buy the Nismo. It's an $8,000 body kit.
2. Buy the Sport package for the rev-match and wheels
3. Add a thermostatic oil cooler from Z1 motorsports if you even think of "pushing" the car.
4. Do not go to the racetrack without swapping brake fluid for MotulRBF600, and NOTHING else.
5. Fast Intentions is the exhaust you are supposed to buy.

1. Not worth it new, but if you can get a good used deal jump on it. If price were equal, Sport wouldn't even be a consideration for most.
2. Yup. Plus the brakes.

i don't have an oil cooler and i go spirited all the while. i did notice some timing being pulled during a relatively hot day (record breaking apparently) so that's nothing new.

i also disagree in a specific exhaust... not because it's a bad choice but it's really up to what your ears like. you as the driver, no one else decides that. (i do like FI tho...)

Agree 100% with everything here. I have helped do three FI exhaust installs now and have only needed to spend an extra 15-20 minutes doing small light adjustments with hangers and shifting a piece here and there. otherwise they line up perfectly. The build quality is just excellent. I find it hard to beat that particular exhaust. When you want to be heard, you will be. Otherwise it just has a beautiful tone.

I am not one to side with the masses but FI did an awesome job with that one. And no, I'm not a fan-boy. Never bought the exhaust myself. Though I wish they would make one for my 911. Anyhow, good luck with your search.

It's so hard to tell how good an exhaust sounds over a youtube video.. I like the price of Fast Intentions, but I am guessing in person it sounds pretty awesome?

youtube kills any real note but it is a good guage for reference. hopefully you have local's in your area that meet and you can ask them to take you for a spin around the block to hear the music

I agree that the Nismo is expensive for what it is, but at least the 2015+ models have those awesome Recaro seats.

I wasnt even looking... I just knew what i always wanted when i went to the dealership. I wanted a special sports car.. Nothing like the norm but one that was unique. They tried to show me a camaro and another type of sports car, nothing was looking appealing... What started it was the dealership called me and asked me if they could buy back my altima. When i took it for an oil change they asked me if i would like to look. I did. They only one i would test drive was the 370z that was the afterthought. I told them i didnt even want to sit in the camaros.. The stick shift was intimidating at first but i knew when i got back that this car was special. It was like everything i ever wanted right there waiting for me. So the heckling began and the rest is history!! I found the ultimate z in my opinion:-)
