2012? The good ones came out in 13. Pre 13 I too scoffed. 13 and above is a whole different ball of wax. The Z is a sports car, through and through. The Genesis is a GT, no matter what flavor. And that is two different buyers. Having owned a 370 and trading it for a GC was the right move for me NOW. I get 90% of Z performance, 120% more comfortable DD. It's not for everyone but it's a hell of a bargain.

My bad, it was a 2013. 3.8, 8speed auto, leather, NICE car. I was real close to buying it, then I drove the Infiniti. I'm not knocking the Hyundai at all, it just lacks a little refinement. As long as your car makes you happy that's all that matters.

I test drive the Infiniti, it was, IMO, a smudge better inside, still lacked some of the tech I wanted though. A bit more comfy, maybe too comfy as it lacked a bit with the loud pedal. And it was like $12K more. So I found a happy medium. Now I'm looking 18 to 24 months down the road. I'm all over the Z35 threads, so if Nissan can make magic again I might be in one. Again. It'll be my 105th Z lol. Hyundai might be whopping up something special too with the next Gen Coupe. I say "let them fight." Good for the buyer.
