its the bugs man, it really helps keep the oil cooler and radiator clean. I dont see a clear bra doing that.

Does it restrict airflow at all? I already have enough problems with cooling here in TX.

FWIW, I have a custom grill on the front bumper opening that does a fantastic job at catching bugs. And it won't damage my paint like dirt that gets under the nosemask will

Also, I'm going to agree with a number of other people and say that you need a bit thicker skin if you're going to post on Reddit (or the internet in general). You are eliciting opinions and comments just by posting, regardless of your intent. If you don't want anyone disagreeing with you, the only solution is don't post.

What heating issues do you have. I live in El Paso TX and its a cooker here and not a issue.

To be clear, I do not really run into heating issues because I am fully aware of them and avoid pushing the car to that point. But this car runs hot. You either have an oil cooler or don't drive the car hard if you have never encountered issues with heat in Texas. I have to back off during my daily driving just to keep it cool sometimes. Even cruising on the highway (granted it's an 85 mph toll road), I've seen oil temps pushing 250F on the gauge. Metal intakes tubes in traffic can increase IATs significantly as well.

Once the car is no longer my DD, I will install an oil cooler. But for now, I just pay attention to the temps and back off before it starts pulling timing. I don't need to be pushing that hard for that long in my daily driving, so not having the oil cooler is a good thing for me for now.

It also helps keep your paint underneath nicely coated in swirl and rub marks

I just find it incredulous that I didn't get more "do your thing" responses. It is also what is wrong with the world today, people value freedom of speech more than the substance of their words.

So we have freedom of speech but when you dont like negative feedback we're wrong for voicing our opinion?
Also if I may suggest one of these

Worst thing you can do to your paint. Then again with how horrible the quality of Nissan paint is it's probably six of one and half a dozen of the other. I don't like them because I see them all the time on ragged out C5 Corvettes being driven by old men.

you keep making it obvious that you don't like the bra even after I stated that I did. One response from you should be enough.

Bras imo take away the nice looks of any sports car.

They were popular at one time.

They fell out of favor for a reason, Probably because they're hideous and scream I got a nasty dent I'm hiding
