I sat on a jury about 15 years ago where the plaintiff was claiming "loss of consortium" for both himself and his wife as a result of injuries he received from an accident (not automobile). Let me just say that that addition to his claims did not play well in the jury room. I was surprised by how mad the female jurors became about it.
On a sadder personal note, I have received another summons for jury duty for next week. I think it is diminishing my sex drive
