I think I have most of you beat . My car was hit on the passenger door and rear quarter the first day I got it (87 miles). I will be getting the car out of the bodyshop tommorow, expect the bill to be around 3-4k.

I only started researching this morning and the 1st thing i read was that only 3 states allow this, I'm in Texas which was not on the list. Georgia , and 2 other states allow this if your own insurance is the one paying ei.. hit and run.

Yeah...NC is the other..I thought there were only 2 when I did my research... Had the ins co of the girl who caused the accident
Not come through (Allstate) I was prepared to approach my ins co.(state farm) though they were not involved. Had it gone that way they would have subrogated Allstate for the $$
