Whats Your Biggest Pet Peeve
Whats your biggest pet peeve about the 370?
I love the car to death, but it drives me absolutely insane when I'm driving with the windows cracked (or open) I spray the windows with windshield washing fluid and the fluid rides right up and into the car! Especially when I make a turn with the slightest crack in the window, the rain waterfalls in. |
Only thing that might be a peeve of mine would be that it doesn't have a good place to put my sunglasses like my Inifniti G37S and G35S had (small cubby up on ceiling by mirror). Other than it's awesome. In fact the 370Z had an option you couldn't get on the G37S I don't think; suede inserts in the leather seats, which I vastly prefer to all-leather.

Lack of places to put phone and wallet, especially when you have a drink already. I need these things visually accesible or ill forget lol
And the auto lights on setting is 1st vs last on the turn switch No usb on stock radio |
So. Many. Rattles.

HATE IT! ****! Other than that the cars great! :D Quote:

The wing mirrors are too big. That's about it. Even with all it's foibles, I love the manual gearbox.
|
I need to change my pants every time I walk out to my garage.

People constantly complaining about the Z
Sell it move on and leave the rest of us in peace! |

The head rests could be a little smaller to have better visual out of the small window
There no such thing as a perfect car, small gripes are justified |

side mirrors do not rotate down in reverse like my bimmer did. or maybe the light grey seats!

plus: 1) The blinker is a bit too silent and if I'm not careful, can be left on. 2) Neither the NISMO logo in the tach (nor the red ring) glow at night. Does NISMO and regular Z34 tachs illuminate the same? 3) Very odd that there's no "SET" indication for cruise control. 4) seems like could eliminate at least 4-6 buttons on the NAV without any loss of functionality with duplication: zoom on the map already works with the center wheel on the map which loses those buttons. Brightness could re-use the wheel as well, which is at least two more, if not the on/off (which should be in the settings anyway). I like dedicated buttons but a bit busy. 5) I'd also like to make the info a bit more dense. On the STATUS, seems like the AC status could be integrated with the radio, mileage info without losing anything but some wasted empty space. Could also be on the status bar in the Map menu, as well. Wasted space to just look at AC. Don't get me wrong, though, I love the car. These are my nitpicks. |
All the stupid people that want to talk cars and know absolutely nothing. It shows just as soon as they open their mouth and start talking/typing.

That's my peeve #2. If I can answer phone calls with Bluetooth, why can't I listen to music Bluetooth instead of having to use the aux |
Or digging in the abyss between the seat and center console for your phone....
|
Like the others, mine are all agronomic.
Beautiful sports car, but my Lexus spoiled me. Limited storage/glove box No sunglass or coin holder Memory settings for seats (electric) Telescoping steering wheel Blind spots - side mirrors & headrest USB port hard to get to I have quickly gotten used to being without these though :) |
my pet peeve is other people talking about their pet peeve :rofl2:

People have a right to quibble. That's life....You could have a $1M Porsche 918 and would still find something to quibble about. Criticism makes you stronger. You got to know what to take, then act on, and what to ignore.
