for me it the crappy seats, armrest on the doors is in the wrong spot and lack of clutch feel
|
How about no interior hatch release and door does not unlock when you try to open them. There is nothing about the Z that would make me not want to drive it though.......
|
my 2nd biggest peeeve is that winter is coming. means she's parked for a good 5 months,.
|
Traffic doesn't magically part for it so that I can drive the way I want to all of the time.

shutokuz, found it regarding the interior hatch release. a pain in the @$$ to get to, but nevertheless, there is one:

Passenger slamming the door, in the Z it does not take much to sound like it's falling apart, since the automatic system that lowers the window activates, it sounds like crap

I'll have to add a "me too" on the quietness of the blinker. |

Gas & Brake pedal too close together on A/T models. (soon to be fixed)
Front nose is a bug & rock magnet. After washing & drying; if you lower the windows-they will get wet/even a couple hours afterwards. Driving through patches of water when you're clean...ughhh/slings up dirty water on rear fenders. (mostly coming from DA's watering the grass & sprinkler head out of adjustment) Having to explain to people how fast the car is & still averages 26mpg. Love My ~Z~ |
+1 on the quiet blinker. also for the fat girls and slamming the doors. wait, that's for all cars. as for some of the ergo comments, don't forget these are sports cars with driving first in mind and luxury a distant second. as Porsche used to say, form follows function. they would be happy to point out that their cars were set up like sports cars, with bare necessities. and the critics would love them for it. of course that was 20-30 years ago when no one had 10 cup holders like nowadays. just me 2 cents.

Biggest peeve is the dirt the car slings on he fenders from having wide tires. Cant go skinnier tires lol. Also 2 clocks is 1 too many. Battery gauge could be something more useful. In the at using the stick to shift has more delay than using the paddles.
Having to buy a new undershroud to make changing the oil not a pain. Battery placement is pretty but is terrible at the same time. Headlight access could be a bit more user friendly |
This thread needs to be renamed. It should be call this, "The bitch and moan thread".

also a coolant temp. gauge in the same cluster....i'm going to look in to some high Quality gauges that are an exact fit,,,,,,not much room for additional things. |
Stupid clock as a gauge:shakes head:

I like having a dedicated clock. But seems like it could fit in a small rectangle under another gauge in the triple cluster. I'd actually sort of prefer another configurable multi-display so I could decide how I want to custom that: for ex. outside temp or whatever in addition to the one on the left of the gauge cluster.

1 Attachment(s)
Attachment 105618 looking at the oil temp. Sending unit (3) gotta get a price on an oil temp gauge & plumb it in A/T to replace clock....it's still oil temp/but would be for transmission. Also should never get close to 300*.....just want to keep the factory looking gauges.
Also wouldn't be bad to have an actual coolant temp gauge: instead of dots. Will be pricing gauge & sensor today...will repost prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
how about when you get in the car and change falls out of your pants pockets and on the carpet under the seats? happens almost every time I have change in my pockets. must be the angle I have the seat adjusted to.
