Red face Update on my mods/car.

Hi guys, as some of you know I've been a member of this forum for a few months now, yet I have only 1 picture of my car. Recently I've installed a new exhaust(TOMEI Ex Ti) and Mishimoto oil cooler(yes, I'm going to a local track) and decided that I should post a few pictures of the mods. Don't hate

Mishimoto Oil Cooler

Tomei Expreme Ti

p.s. I didn't know where to post this thread, feel free to move it if needed.

Honestly, I think it's even close to 3.2", so yes.
Thanks!

Good stuff

BUT ...

I sure hope you did not use the miSHITmoto thermostatic plate. They are known to fail and dump 5 quarts of oil while you're driving down the road

They will send you a replacement o-ring if this happens, but I think you're on your own with the blown motor

Thanks.
Honestly, I got the simple(non thermostatic) plate by a mistake. This is the first time I hear that Mishimoto thermostatic plates have problems. Does that mean I got lucky for buying the dull version? Lol

Yes. Very.

Get the Mocal if you ever need the thermostatic plate.

Great. It's 3x more expensive than the mishimoto one, but if it's going to save me from blown engine, then it's worth it.

Even more reason not to buy it lol... Z1 has a kit with fittings and everything to connect up to the NISMO oil cooler kit. With the Mocal and fittings and everything its only $150 http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370...oducts_id=4652
