It is, winter tires makes all the difference. I've put on 10's of thousands of miles in the winter in the rocky mountains with out a problem, people just need to learn to drive their cars, both FWD and RWD Hell even the 4X4 crowd. I see more 4x4's in the ditches here in the winter then anything else.
