Default Humming Noise

Hello everyone,
Its beeen a while since I have posted. I've been busy with life.
So today I was driving my Z, and I was driving rather aggressively. Oil temps went up etc.
Anyway, after about 5-6 mins of hard driving I started to notice a humming noise. This sound seemed to be coming when I had my foot engaged on the gas. I had no idea what it might be..
When I let go of the gas, the noise would stop.
Anyone got a clue?

Shout out to ANDREW! AKA DEPOINTFIVE(I think, cant remember username haha) it's been a while! I hope you're still on here.

pss: I want a Porsche now

What? haha.
Umm I only have 12k miles on the car. I am not that good with cars parts and pieces, but based on milage I don't think it is that. Or am I wrong? Again I have no clue. lol
I figured it was because the engine was running way hot. I want to say that a different time when I was driving it hard, it did the same thing. I am no track expert, but I wouldn't track this car stock without doing some work. And I know from past years that this has been the case. Nevertheless, I was driving it hard, but not like "Track" hard and I felt it could not keep up. Or is it just me?

Are you sure it was not your passenger making the noise? My son sometimes makes that humming noise when I accelerate lol

Where is the hum coming from? Front? Mid? Rear?
Can you be more descriptive as to what the hum sounds like? Or post a recording?

Wild guess: you are hearing air going into the intakes.

haha. @ beemaz
SouthArk,
Hum seems to be coming from either around the engine side of things or right underneath me.
I don't think I can be too descriptive. I can't find the right words, but next time I will definitely post a recording if it happens again.
