My 09 knobs started misbehaving at about 3 years - 30K miles. Had the panel replaced under warranty, and it just started doing it again at 6 years - 63K miles. It's an easy repair, so I had no problem trusting the shop; they just swap out the whole panel. When it got to the point to where bumps would cause the temperature or volume to change, I took it in. Not there yet with the replacement, but its starting to get flaky.

mine are hit or miss. i'd say 50/50 between opens fine or needs to pull it up and hit the button again to release.
depends on how I open the trunk. if i unlock the vehicle with the key fob and then push the button underneath the trunk lid, it's about a 10/90 that it will/will not open properly. however, i noticed that if i leave my car locked and push the trunk lid button, there's a 2-second delay and it'll will open with no issues.

I never really paid attention to which way I unlock or opened the hatch If it works better. i'll have to test this later.

and yes I've hit big bumps (PA roads ) and the a/c had turned itself on. that or there;s a ghost I nmy car that got a bit warm.
