Confirm problem fixed

now I get a very mild "mouse pad" flappy sound. very easy ignored.

yes I have this too. Those are easily covered by a little music. although I usually make my music loud

Well I'm glad you were able solve your problem, but now I have one. I was thinking of getting the FI exhaust but with what it seems like a common problem of rattles hissing and unknown noises I'm a little hesitant. I've gotten exhausts on other cars and never had problems with them. These are special made for the Z and come from the factory with these issues puts pause in me. Other than the noise do you like the exhaust , sound and power?

I gotta say those rattling and buzzing are case specific. Z is a nice car unfortunately made by Nissan.

So its gonna rattle.

FI is great exhaust. Very addictive sound. Rattling will likely to happen but you can try to diagnose it and fabricate something to seal the rattle. Power-wise can't tell, never been on dyno yet.
