yes I lease my Nismo. As a nissan employee I can lease cars on a 1 year plan at an awesome rate (298 per month).

For those that doubt what I posted, the Nissan employee lease website (www.nissanemployeelase.com) has the information on the 2015 370Z that I posted. The Nismo will have 2 packages (base and tech) with 2 transmissions (6MT and 7AT). Now while this all may not be available to the public these are options that I can lease….just like leasing a Nismo Juke RS with CVT transmission. The GT-R is the only car that we cannot lease.

I'll post more info about the 2015 once they have the package details updated on the lease website.

If you can lease it that means its available to the general public...you are the general public.

my lease is not through a dealership, a bank or any other financial institution and the lease dollar amounts are not available to the general public, only nissan employees.

I would hesitate before taking that guy's post as fact. I can't imagine there being enough Nismos sold to justify making more versions of it. Until I see something official, I'm going to file that under the "wild-*** speculation" we like to get into here.

agreed but if you think about it they will have the transmission laying around and i they bolt a AT to a Nismo they could probably sell more.

if the nismo had a "touring" or "tech" pack plus a &at i would have bought one instead.

i wanted nav and leather. the nismo interior is terrible looking to me lol just cloth and nothing special besides the number plate.

Yeah, but from an accountant's standpoint it doesn't make sense. They sell less than 10k/yr Zs of all types. People should be happy there's a Nismo at all. I'd have bought a Nismo with leather and nav (you can keep the auto), but that would be a $50k car and that's a hard sell. The last time a Z cost $50k they killed it.

Well, to be fair, if this site is a valid breakdown of 7at vs 6mt owners, it's the stick that needs to worry, not the auto. Driving a manual is a vanishing skillset.
