Yeah, it's not like it's a bad upgrade. You might make some money back too, once you get the old one out and take a look at it. Someone with a really fried clutch will take it off your hands.

I think the new clutch purchase was a little premature as others have said. When i had my 09 i did the hard launch thing until i got it out of my system and i COOKED that thing putting it down the 1/4 mile with an amature launch about 4 times. you could smell it 20 feet from the car. then about 20k miles later my slave cylinder went out like they always do, and i had the tech look at the clutch and it was fine. no glazing at all. it takes a LOT of abuse to seriously damage a composite clutch, even single plate.
