Paint chipping on the front break caliper

Do any of you here have the same issue on this? Just bought the 2013 Nismo and after 2 weeks of having it I notice there is a tiny spot

Default Paint chipping on the front break caliper

Do any of you here have the same issue on this? Just bought the 2013 Nismo and after 2 weeks of having it I notice there is a tiny spot on the top of the caliper that the paint had chipped off. I look on the other side is it's there also on the exact spot. Please chime in so that I can be at ease. Thank you all.

Yeah just take it back to the dealership. They need to fix that. Not sure if Nissan uses paint or powder but if it's the latter, there's no way you could have done that without taking the caliper off the car.

Paint? Send your calipers to Mike and have them powder coated.

I'm pretty sure Nissan uses powder on them and not paint but I could be wrong.

Yeah definitely a dealer issue since the car is so new. Good luck!

Ask Mike if you want to be sure. He could tell you how they come from the factory (paint or powder).

I don't know what it is, I think its a paint, but its much more durable than regular auto paint, even though the OPs have already chipped. Its a bitch to strip off.

That's a really odd damage pattern now that I look at it closer. It looks like it was hit with something starting at the top righthand corner of the caliper and heading down diagonally.
