Is this soot normal?

I have the same issue with mine with no change before and after TPs. I too thought it was exhaust soot but perhaps it is brake dust or just general

I have the same issue with mine with no change before and after TPs. I too thought it was exhaust soot but perhaps it is brake dust or just general road/ tire gunk. I haven't tried licking it yet. That may be next.
