So... how do we jack the front of this car up?

Place the scissors under the side skirt to lift it high enough to slide a floor jack in its place to finish the job. Then rest the car on a

You don't want to trust that scissors jack for that. I know my scissors jack will not go up high enough for a jack stand.

I wouldn't trust them for that either. Just switch it over to a regular jack after the scissors raise it a an inch or so.
