still rough ride after Swift

So just a FYI for anyone on the fence about buying Swift lowering springs for their Nismo in hopes of a more comfortable ride, since I really couldn't get the answer I was looking for before I bought...

I would say that the comfort level of the ride has improved maybe 30-40%, however, the rear bounce is still definetly there. Anyone debating should just go ahead and get coilovers (I will be going with BC).

Thanks for the heads up. But I think any aftermarket lower springs or coilovers won't get you more comfortable ride then the stock(nismo) springs. Those are made to increase the performence thus will surely lower the ride comfort level.

BC coilovers are very nice but you will get a more stiff ride. I had HKS Hypermax III and had 32 clicks to adjust the stiffness. Still nowhere close to the stock springs.

As others have said , the springs absorb bumps a little better, but its those damn dampers that are still causing problems and all that rear bounce

I drove a Nismo and imo they come with an awesome suspension. They seem stiff but yet absorb the bumps on the road smoothly compared to my 9k Tanabe springs I have on my sports model. My car likes to throw me in the air when i hit a bump. Swift springs I believe are some of the stiffest springs out there. I think they are 10k front and 10.5 k rear. People dont normally put those on to get a softer ride.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I still don't really know what people think when buying a sports car. That it’s supposed to ride and feel like a Cadillac.

I love the way the Nismo feels. My C6 Vette had a comfortable ride from the factory. I did not like it and got coilovers to improve the handling.

The only real hope you might have is to swap springs and shocks with someone that has a base car.

Coil overs with the same spring rates 10/10.5 along with adjustable dampening should do the trick. It's the rebound of the rear that kills me on these Nismo's
