Any Nismo Owners Wish They Bought the Base with Sport Package Instead?

The Nismo is the only 370Z model I would get, not crazy about the cat fish whiskers in the front bumper of the base model.

Well I don't regret it for a base package with sport or touring with sport, I do regret it cause I could have gotten an e55 amg v8 kompressor for 3k less than my nismo but that was a month after I got the car.

I love my nismo but I'd take an E55 AMG Mercedes over my nismo any day.

You just lost all your stability and downforce at high speed in the front, and made it look worse, and had to spend money to get it done, its the whole package deal

I got the nismo for 33, I didn't lose anything. Look worse? Your opinion. You can have the same look as thousands on here. Lost stability at high speeds? No, doing 120+ feels the same. Again, its my car, I do what I want. I won't lose sleep worrying about what people might think of it. Its only a nissan.

Well, actually you did, you had to buy the parts, paint them, then put them on the car. For all that, I would have just gotten a sport/touring with a leather interior and maybe a nav. Seems kind of pointless.

So you are saying you bought a Nismo, then had standard 370z parts put on that you didn't buy, or paint, or paid for install?

Yeah 50 Ibs of weight difference can make people to ignore all the other performence upgrades on the Nismo and put it ALWAYS gets worse track time according to some magazines. Some people does think this makes sense.

Blasphemously: Love my Nismo, sexiest car Nissan makes, but would have loved to have an automatic 7 speed in it or GT-R of course.... Instead just settled for and EVO X MR as my Mistress Car. Not as sexy as my NISMO, but attractive in her own way. Modded she still outperforms. But Love em both.
