Nismo exhaust, is it a bolt on for a base Z with sport package?

I keep seeing used Nismo cat backs for sale, does anyone know if this is a bolt on swap for the standard exhaust or is cutting and welding needed? For

I keep seeing used Nismo cat backs for sale, does anyone know if this is a bolt on swap for the standard exhaust or is cutting and welding needed? For that matter is it worth the trouble?

you wont get anything for power really, just a tad bit reduced back pressure and for sound, check out my thread a few posts down, there are a bunch of sound clips.

I sure felt that there was a big power increase. No dyno but butt dyno, that and my back tires spend a lot more time complaining...

Kirkster - Your signature looks like it, but wanted to confirm that you have the H-pipe NISMO exhaust from a stock NISMO Z. I have a sport model and was thinking about buying a used NISMO exhaust I found but wanted to make sure there were no fitment issues.

I have also seen the s-tune NISMO exhaust for sale and know that fits but have read that the stock NISMO H-pipe exhaust may stick out some from the bumper of a base or sport model. Thanks

I have a complete cat back exhaust from a stock Nismo 370 (Trooper's Car) and it bolted right up...

Everyone loves the Nismo tips on my Z.
