Exhaust weight and other questions

There is thread in the exterior/interior section with tons of info on weight reduction. You really aren't going to save a significant amount of weight with any aftermarket exhaust systems

There is thread in the exterior/interior section with tons of info on weight reduction. You really aren't going to save a significant amount of weight with any aftermarket exhaust systems unless you go titanium or a single pipe setup. On average, if there is any weight savings with an aftermarket stainless steel set ups it's usually around 5 to 10lbs. Like mentioned before, some are heavier than oem. Im not positive, but i think my brand new ark dt-s exhaust is heavier than stock. Little disappointed about that but I'm not going to spend 3- 4k dollars on titanium.

Titanium is very bridal & doesn’t make sense to have on as a DD. It is worth it if you are looking to race on a circuit & want to save weight. At the end of the day the question you have to ask yourself is if you want to spend a huge sum of money on a titanium exhaust.
