It would bother me too.... but I think fixing & re-painting it would be just as good as replacing with a new one. I would just live with it to be honest...leave the front plate. It's one less headache, especially in NY. They never use to pull people over for it, but lately, they do. I have the Stillen bracket on mine. You could always put the Nismo mustache if it really bothers you....and I thought the holes were suppose to be drilled into the plastic/unpainted part?
Edit. Nm, didn't realize it's a Nismo

In 2009 I bought a new Black Maxima. I live in Illinois, the car came from a dealer Indiana so there was no front plate on it. I liked the car and really liked that is didn't have a front plate. I decided to buy it but I wanted it cleaned so I could inspect it before I signed any paperwork. The porter took the car in back to hand wash and the first thing he did was put the front bracket on. Unbeleiveable!! I almost told them to keep the car, but being in a state that requires a front plate I decided to take the car and just conform to the law. Again after having it a week or so I found some small black plastic plugs at an Ace Hardware store. Same thing only it was less noticeable being Black. Again, it's not perfect but it's a solution.

AUGGHHH!! That would piss me off beyond belief! When I walked into the dealer that was the first thing I said. If it had a front plate, or you guys install one, the deal is off. I'm in Illinois too. And i simply don't give a sh** about our front plate law. With my old car and my new nismo, i've been driving without a front plate for well over 4 years without an incident. I've gotten speeding tickets before and the officers don't care as long as you're respectful. If I do get pulled over for it I won't BS the officer either. Simply put I will just say I refuse to drill into my bumper and pay the fine. |

Nice Nismo667, it almost looks like parking sensors.

If you have a NISMO, then the moweraxle tow hook adapter is the one that you want. The Stillen works with the rest. Check out my albums (Daily one) to see the pics of it installed on a NISMO.

Just installed the moweraxle kit. Super easy, sturdy, and looks great. Larry shipped it out the next day. Didn't think I would like the offset mount but its slowly growing on me.

Im am not going to put one on mine even though I can get a ticket for it. But if I ever did have to put one on.. it would be the one above. The offset looks nice! Best one I have seen.
