When i got my oil changed at nissan, the girl who was helping me said it was amazing and was staring at it saying she can only dream of having one. Then three dealer employees went out of their way to say nice car and congrats (?), as i was picking it up. I was being bombarded lol.

Hey NissanGuy, I think my GF was checking you out in your car the other day hahaha. She came over and said she saw the exact same car as me so she was looking at it hardcore to see if it was me only to soon realize it wasn't. She said she never saw somebody else with that same car and I immediately knew it had to be you. Just thought it was funny

I few weeks back a couple of teenagers were walking past and said "Look! It's a Nismo" and gave me a thumbs up! Also at Boardwalk Nissan I was bombarded with employees looking at my car. This thing really does look exotic! Nismo FTW! :p

im not sure why, but i get the most compliments from middle aged black women. they LOVE the car!!! every other fill up im being asked to see inside or what it is. makes me smile.

p.s. im as white as snow.

Moments like that always reassures me that it was, and still is a great car/buy. Even if I haven't driven it in months. The idea behind the Z, more so the Nismo model is something special!

Really?... I just had an older Viper RT-10 pull up next to me on the highway and started revving his engine. There was a car in front of him so I wasn't sure if he was trying to get me to run or he was just being stupid. Wow,... I'm sure his V10 is just a tad bit faster than me, lol... no need to gloat about it. I think the first thing he needs to do is get a paint job since the paint on his fender and hood was all oxidized like it had been sitting in the sun for the past 20 years. What a shame he let a Viper get that way.

Or maybe he was curious what our cars could do? After all, our cars do look pretty fast lol. All kidding aside, I actually would feel flattered, since a viper owner would not have done that if you are in a civic (no offense to civics).

Read about this happening to other Z's. But never me until the last couple of times, out with the Nismo. People taking pictures of me driving it. I must be on atleast 7 cell phones. LOL :D Oh, Tonight my new GF said that it sounded healthy. :tup: This is coming from a 59yr. old woman. :eek:

i get alot of attention, some good but alot bad, i get alot of ricers revving their engines at me, and i even had one guy throw his drink at my car

ya it was some *** in an evo 8 who did that, i was leaving my local military base when this guy speeds through the gate, cuts me off and than threw his drink out of his window hitting my car(right after i washed the car as well)

i was about to follow him and beat the **** out of him with the tire iron in my car but my mother stopped me from doing it....

that though was probably the worst attention i have ever gotten with my car

Throwing a drink at a NISMO Z should be punished by 17 years in prison, and a naked whipping every year during the duration and min 100 hours of aggressive physco theory. Following the jail period, they are not allowed to hold or buy drinks for 5 years after the sentance.

Had a guy in some luxury 4d don't remember what it was buy he kept driving next to me on the freeway showing off or something... He then decided to drive on to the shoulder and attempt to throw rocks up at my car as I was in the fast lane. I was pissed.

Wow, I thought these were isolated incidents. I actually had somebody throw what appeared to be a big ball bearing at my windshield; it cracked it pretty bad. I'm still furious. The guy was in a brand new STi and you'd think he'd respect another expensive vehicle, but he had two young kids in the car, was driving like a jackass, and threw something at my car with no provocation. I probably should have chased him down but I didn't realize the extent of the damage right away... heard it hit the windshield, didn't see anything, and like 20 minutes later it spiderwebbed.

What the hell is this? You take down his license plate number, pull over, and call the police immediately.

Yea i would have gotten his plate and follower him home and beat him with his own show in front of his kids

I know, I know... ironically, I'm actually a big dude and he was some scrawny wanna-G. I don't know what came over me to let this go when normally I would have turned into The Hulk... maybe I'm getting old. Anyway, I have a cracked windshield to remind me every day that I should've beat that guy's ***. Just got it tinted a few days before the incident and it doesn't obscure my vision yet, so I'm gonna stay in denial until it does. :P

Ask your tinter and see if he takes insurance, my tinter does and he was able to replace the windsheild on one of my older cars and retint the car and all I paid was my deductible

I get almost constant looks. Not too many say anything to me though, only a had full of people say anything to me about it. What I find interesting though is that guys look, point, and might say something. Girls on the other hand just look on the "sly." And they almost never spak, more so give the look of "I hope he comes over and talks to me." lol Oh and the occasional wave while driving. The funniest part though is that if I'm in uniform I've actually had a few people ask me if I'm undercover or if I chase the street racers....Yeah lol

Well, I got pulled over for the first time in my Nismo. I've been here in Texas for almost 2 years now on a TDY deployment with the company I work for. So anyone that's been to Texas knows the police don't play around.

I was on a 4 lane highway headed home, 2 lanes for each direction. Speed limit is 70, I'm probably doing around 80, in 4th gear as I was passing someone. As I'm passing, a Sheriff goes by in the other lane headed the opposite direction. I didn't really think much of it, slowed down and got back into the slow lane. About a half a mile down the road I look in my mirror and I see flashing lights coming up on me FAST. I pretty much knew the deal so I just went ahead and pulled over and waited for him.

Once he saw my WA state plate he pretty much knew I was in the Army or affiliated with them, as Ft. Hood is just right down the road. When he saw the inside of my car he was like "what in the world are you doing to this car"... lol, inside completely stripped. Just let him know I was hopefully going to start tracking it when I get back home to WA. He then told me "well this isn't a race track", semi serious, semi laughing. He looked at my insurance info and ran my license and let me go.

Not having a front plate, and not having any resonators on my Ark exhaust, is the reason I believe he pulled me over. I don't think he clocked me, just assumed I was speeding. He did ask me if I knew why I was being pulled over and I did tell him that I was speeding a little bit.

Driving around the highways in Dallas (especially near DFW) there was literally a visible speed trap every 2-3 miles with cops just sitting on the side of the road. Couldn't help wondering if there were too many cops with nothing to do or what.

So today I went to Target to pick up some random christmas supplies and a little kid made his mom stop to see the "racecar". I let him sit in the drivers seat and honk the horn. He couldn't reach the pedals but he was happy to inform me that he was seven years old, his name is Ty and that his brothers are tall so he will be able to drive race cars soon.

I still get a kick out of driving this thing around.

Had a V6 Charger pull up next to me at a stop light. Looked like something straight out of DUB magazine.. Had big 22" or 24" chrome wheels, and had Skittles decals all over it.. lol. I've been seeing this trend lately... just seen a Oldsmobile the other day with DUB's and KFC logo on the side of it... Hey whatever floats your boat...

Anyway, this Charger starts revving up at me, I just glanced over and shook my head. I wanted to smoke him soooo bad but it was in the city and its just not worth the risk... So when the light went green of course he took off and then kept antagonizing me by speeding up and then slowing down next to me. Finally he got the hint and left me alone.

When this happens to me. I just pull out the Mac10 and they leave me alone. :D

You know there are about 9-10 NISMOs in our area now. 2 07-08, both red. 7 09-12, 2 red (including mine), 2 white (including yours), 1 black, 1 silver, 1 PG. 2 13s, 1 black, 1white.

There are a grip of failed Donk type cars around here. I just laugh at them. There are a plethora of Z33s gone wrong though, and that is probably why you got "addressed" by the authorities.

I got "addressed" going in Warrior Way by a police officer standing with the gate guards. He asked me where my front license plate was. And I told him the truth, it was behind my seat. He told me to put it in the window and he wouldn't write me a ticket. So I asked him if they fixed the penalty for no front place and his response was priceless. He said that his job is to enforce the law. It's not his fault that the penalty was chopped up when they re-wrote the violations/penalties and that he would still write me a 100 dollar ticket. He then asked me if I wanted to have to pay that fine and hire a lawyer to go to court. I replied, "sure...........if you want to waste both of our precious time. I will print out the penal code and bring the ticket to court with me, but since I don't want you wasting tax dollars.......I will just put it up there." I used a big red angry bird to hold it up there behind the gauges, lol.

Hey Rob, I've been seeing them more and more in our area. I sorta wish the Nismo 370 was as exclusive as the Nismo 350. I hardly ever see any of them.

^yea i was at the king of prussia mall and ran into another 2009 PG nismo, and then saw a black '13 nismo in the adjacent parking lot. There is also a black 350 nismo frequently in that same lot too.

Drew a small crowd pulling into the dealership for my oil change today (8 free with the car purchase and yes, I made them show me the empty ester oil bottles).

When I came back to pick the car up, they had it parked diagonally in front of the dealership. Free advertising!

Had an older beat up Mitushibi Lancer (regular one not Evo) pull up next to me on the freeway yesterday and honked at me. Looked over and was two girls in it, and the driver was motioning forward with her hand. So I dropped into to 3rd and gave it a short burst of speed so they could hear the exhaust. When they finally went passed me they gave me a thumbs up.

Before you ask... no, they were not good looking lol.
