i thought this thread was closed. I don't hate nismos. Why would i hate a trim level on a car that i have? Why does everything have to be about 'hate'. When a 5 year old's mom disciplines him he says 'i hate you.' If you think i hate the trim level on your car enough to hate it, you have issues, kind of like how the pretty girl in school thinks everyone hates her because they are jealous, even though she isn't really that hot.

If someone came up to me running their mouth about how collectible the 40th is and my car isn't worth sh1t i'd say something too. You say us 'regular' Z owners aren't used to 'envy.' Get it through your head, No one is ENVYing us for our 30k sports cars. Jesus how superficial can you be. Most people with a car of some sort could AFFORD a Z. Anyone with an altima or maxima probably could have managed paying for the car but it simply didn't work for them.

Once again, i didn't come into this section to start crap about your car. It came up in my 'new posts' and you are claiming i 'hate the nismo and i'm simply clarifying my point of view

honestly, if this section is about loving the nismo, have a good time start some threads about all the encounters you have with people who can't stop fapping to the wing on your car and quit dragging this argument on and on.

I had some crazy guy in a Ford Explorer chase me down yesterday. I turned a corner and he was behind me. He turned after ~30secs and came up flying on my left. After pacing me a few secs he gave me a thumbs up. Its a little unsettling at times. Just weird.

I am sure this happens to all 370 owners. They are all great looking cars.

Why would you hate a trim level on a car.... Oh it's a different trim level now, maybe that's it so you can understand better now. Relating this to a 5 yr olds temper tantrum??? Really. And thinking people hate you??? Man it's like talking to a brick wall. Look at every nismo thread no matter what the topic and there's always someone who has to add their negative feedback on the Nismo. And envy,. yeah people look at my Nismo and say hey that's badass. And they do like it and ENVY it, they wish they had one. And according to you and the rest of the haters our Nismos wasn't $30k its $40k ten grand more for a "body kit." You may not hate the car but you certainly show a bias towards people who bought them. I don't see a single thread or comment that Nismo owners started saying how better the Nismo is vs a base just defending comments against the onslaught of haters. Nismo owners talking about their experiences and wanting to share what others they have come across think. And you can't deny it. It's written in black and white. And you're right I do have an issue and that issue is people like you.

Seriously bro, calm down. Not everyone here drives a base Z. Every touring/sport, touring/sport/nav, and 40th anniv, cost just as much if not more than your nismo.

The nismo is a trim level of the 370z. Just like the 335 is a trim level of the 3 series, i'm not sure exactly why that bothers you. There's plenty of awesome Z's on this forum, each with its own personal touch. The guy's with roadsters don't get all butthurt when a guy with a coupe says 'oh i would rather have a hard top, or 'having a roadster wasn't worth the extra money to me.' You don't hear guys with touring packages crying when someone with a base says 'yea the leather wasn't worth it, kind of a waste of money IMO.' But alas, here you are, whining and whining about what some other people think about the TRIM LEVEL on your car. and yes, groups of options and packages on a car are typically called the 'trim level' on a car.

and before you get all obsessed with how much your car cost, a lot of people payed mid to low 30's for a nismo so if you paid over 40k, and want to feel like that makes you special then more power to you.

and as far as the envy thing is concerned, you really need to get over yourself. You shouldn't envy someone for their car or stupid material posessions, however, i could maybe understand having some envy for someone with a rare exotic car, or something you couldn't ever afford in your wildest dreams, but a nismo 370z? no one out there has ENVY for a 370z, and if you think the difference between a nismo 370z and a base/sport/touring/40th etc is enough to make someone ENVY you, then

you're just self absorbed

and like i said. i have no problem with nismos or any other 370z. I honestly love how the nismo looks and i think its an awesome car along with all the other Z's in their own way. what i do have a problem with is people like you running their mouths about people envying you for your car because its a nismo.

Maybe it's not on purpose, but you come across just like the guy in the ferrari in Fast and the Furious.

WOW. Brick wall..... Saying the defenses of what Nismo owners have already said. Envy me? No, it's the car that they envy not me. Get over myself..... it was never about myself. Bout the car always have been. And calm down? Is that your only defense now when a Nismo owner is sick and tired of the continuous badgering of how the Nismo is a body kit nothing else. I come across like the guy in the ferrari? No.... You do. Like I said and other nismo owners have said again and again We never said our cars are better. Never. It's always someone saying our cars isn't worth the money, for the money you can do this and that, it comes with a plaque ha ha....... Why don't you guys just stop with all the negatives. All the little sticks and jabs every chance you get.
