MONISMO370Z 11-05-2012 02:25 PM

thanks tu_clean! I know I'm ready for some swift springs next... Might wait until spring will see :-)

koffeegy 11-05-2012 03:10 PM

Hey Mo,
Did you remove all the spacers from the front springs? Just looks like she is sitting up a bit. I had three on each side.

fuct 11-05-2012 04:14 PM

a drop with those fake volks would look good.

Jose Aliling 11-05-2012 08:36 PM

dmhenderson 11-06-2012 10:32 AM

Almost done screwing around with it (or at least that's what I'm telling my girlfriend):

I'm going for a similar look, but I intend on getting the tails smoked out. Very nice!

Good for him! The big trend is going overboard in my opinion. 18's are about as big as I would want to go on a car, but today's cars are getting so large in size that they need the larger wheels to look right.

The 19" Nismo's wheels are like anchors compared to the weight of my 2003 Track's forged 18" Rays. I wish they would have stayed with 18" and just made them wider.

I can't make up my mind. On one hand the murdered out look works well but on the other, the tail lights match the caliper powder for contrast and I like the red/black theme so...

Haterz will always hate. Can't respect the fact they look good an I just got a better deal compared to those who get ripped off on some authentic wheels let's not forgot I have a Nismo... Didn't cheap out there.. again to all haterz... which I could care less for. But, yea doing swift springs on the vertini wheels should look pretty damn good. Thanks for your input

Good answer...:icon18: U still driving a 350z?

:shakes head:

Btw that was related to my old wheels and tires the saying "go big or go home" either way I like the saying and im leaving it. Everyone who has seen the car so far loves it.

Yep, still on stock wheels too...cause I won't buy fakes :tiphat:

EDIT:

Don't want to turn this into a back and forth, but never said it doesn't look bad just that they knock offs. If you cut corners there might as well cut corners everywhere else with that mentality. Also I'm not a hater.

EDIT:

I'm sure you can see where we're coming from with the dislike of knock offs. It's not the price difference it's the blatant copy of a design that bugs me.

EDIT:

With your train of thought gonna have kids buying replica parts, and slapping on a nismo sticker and parking next to you. You gonna say "I have an authentic nismo".....the poser gonna say "me too"

:icon17:

Edit

Happy veterans day

Because of you I just spent 3k on legit wheels for my old trashy Nismo

Cool story

MONISMO370Z, don't worry about the negative comments. How many people on this forum have real Amuse or Zele bodykits? Yet they are praised whenever they post their pictures....

Anyways... couple of pics of some new stuff..

Congrats on the parts, brakes are sick. But I wouldn't recommend putting car parts in places where you eat and especially on surfaces where you might prepare food. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip Spaceman :tiphat:. My place looks like an AutoZone. I have parts everywhere!

I bought these UAM vented fenders at the beginning of this year. They just been sitting around collecting dust... I need to get them painted and installed asap

MJB, the parts looks awesome! I love Wilwood! And not too many Nismos have that UAM vented fenders especially the white ones. Can't wait to see them on your car! And please don't eat them by any chance.:p

i dont think you understood my original comment. i never said they didnt look good. i said with a drop (as in lowering the car) with the fake volks and you will be good. (as in the car will look good) geez man.....

and the red i highlighted above..... if you didnt cheap out and got a nismo why cheap out on the wheels. id take my real factory nismo wheels over ANY fake wheel.

if you didnt care what the haterz say then why quote my comment?

also its COULDN'T care less.....
