Aluminum Kick Plate

Anyone know where to get the nismo aluminum kick plate or how much they cost? I dropped my cell phone and it put a nice little dent in it.

They are $200 + shipping + tax from the dealer. I was looking for an aftermarket source that would be less expensive. I wonder if I can take it off and pound it smooth. Prob not as originally.

Not that big but it was high enough and hit it on an edge just enough to create a ding.

And wow I did not think to search the vendors here. But they are still pricey. It's less than the dealer but still up there. I was thinking $50 -$100 but they are brushed aluminum nismo kick plates. Guess I will wait a wee bit longer before I replace the one, I might ding it up again, wonder if that price is each one or a pair........

I just need to replace the aluminum portion. But it looks like its part of the bigger plastic piece as well and the aluminum part is not a separate part that can be bought just by itself.

I am not sure if you mean these...The Nismo Shop : West Covina Nissan : Nismo Aluminum Kick Plates - 350z

or maybe the nicer ones everybody seems to have... The Nismo Shop : West Covina Nissan : Illuminated Aluminum Kick Plates - 370z

in any case the latter of both is a lot cheaper than you were quoted. Next time do yourself and our forum vendors a favor and search the site, as there are lenty of deals to be had you just have to take the time to search

i was doing my audio instal and had something in my back pocket. i leaned on the passenger sill and put two dents in. took alot of force to do so yea HOW BIG IS YOUR CELL PHONE! hahaha jk

Somehow I put a dent in mine (accidentally kicked it?) so it doesn't seem too strong to me...

2 hours after I bought my Z I dropped the wheel lock key on my passengers side kick plate and dented it up good. It seems like they dent pretty easily so I would probably hold off unless it bothers you that much
