Limiter?

Could it be that it really isn't a good idea to go must faster than 155 in a Z, be it a Nismo Z or otherwise; at least not without

Could it be that it really isn't a good idea to go must faster than 155 in a Z, be it a Nismo Z or otherwise; at least not without some serious modifications?

I've been in various vehicles at very high speeds over the years; some were very stable and comfortable at those speeds and could probably cruise there for hours on end; and some were not so stable or comfortable...but all could "get there".

Just wondering out loud here.

The redline is configurable in the ECU, a reflash can change the redline. 155 mph speed limiter is also configurable.

The top speed of the Nismo isn't likely going to be higher. The extra downforce created by the bodywork creates additional drag at high speed.

A tune will remove the speed limiter. Red line is the same on all 370Zs. I will sell you mine for $50k

i had mine at 145 last weekend and it didnt feel or sound half as good as the climb from 115 to 135 our cars arent suppose to be fast in a stight a way

my thought process

Fast = F430,Z06,Gallardo,R8 150mph +

Quick = Evo, Sti, R32, Nismo, S2K. 80mph +

Anyone Remember Top Gear Evo vs Murci?

Why your version in AT will be better top speed than my? Is it for that you have got 1 extra gear ? You know... you have better speed but acceleration me
