Who cares about gas mileage? :icon14:

I'm not saying that you should have raced the idiot ... just that your excuse should never be gas mileage when you own cars like these  :p

I would totally waste gas on them ... as long as it was coming from a flame thrower. They don't call them rice burners for nothing :stirthepot:

You guy's think you have it bad. Try driving a boosted 15' Nismo . Under normal conditions there are the gawkers , "Nice Porsche" and the rev till I pop guy's. But let my blow off valve sound or or if I dig into it and spool up............totally different situation. I get the WTF crowd then. I have to admit there have been a few occasions where I was forced to flex and it was gratifying to say the least.

Took the Z out of storage on Sunday after a 6 month hiatus and forgot how much fun it is to drive...until Tuesday. Driving to work for the 1st time this year and as I look in the rear view mirror, I see this Millennial in his Malibu right on my bumper. I am doing 37 in a 35 zone and I am thinking WTF. I speed up a little and he does as well. Still on my bumper, I slow to 35 and he gets the hint that he is too close, so I get back to 37 and there he is again, riding my butt. I wanted to get out at the next light and rip him out of his "dad-car" and punch him.

He did this for the 10-minutes he was behind me...All I wanted to do was enjoy the Z and get to work without being harassed. Don't know what possesses people to do this???? OK, I am done ranting...

I know...there were times where I would just speed the hell up and put some distance between us, but that only makes the idiot want to drive faster to catch me. Also wanted to slam on the brakes, but getting rear-ended by a douche is not my idea of fun either.

Now that I am older and wiser, I try to ignore these morons and go about my day :driving: ... but there are days where it is really hard to do.

Agreed! My perspective on many things have changed since I crossed the half century mark years ago. But I do have my moments if I am in the right mood and the coast is clear I will light them up laughing all the way as they disappear in my rear view mirror! :p

Agree with Hotrodz....age should not stop you from burning rubber! I am 50 and have no problems driving too fast even more so then when I was younger....primarily because I have a radar detector now and enough money to afford the tickets...so hell with it ...I don't even care if I lose ...:driving:.

Hotrodz 04-20-2017 06:22 PM
