Had the same issue with my shifter at high RPM. So annoying. Took it to the dealership. Lucky for me the Nissan Tech also owns a Nismo 370z. Turns out

Lucky for me the Nissan Tech also owns a Nismo 370z. Turns out it was a spring inside the shifter and it wasn't completely tight. Took apart the shifter and boot, tightened it, done! No rattle!
