Nissan wants to buy out top liability instead of fixing.
This shows how Nissan wants to wash their hands of Roadster tops.You can see why they will stop making roadsters.If they replace whole thing could run 14K.How long is left on your Warranty?I would ask for more money.If you take the 5k make sure you have something in writing about the rest of the car being covered.
I have never heard of a company doing this.Nissan built car and does not want to cover the top.What the Hell.

Maybe Nissan techs keep breaking something far more expensive and end up having to replace the whole thing under warranty. More economical to buy you out for $5k.

hello
car has 350 miles on it full WARRANTY yet
i told the technicians to watch a youtube video on how to replace the bungee. i bet that the problem, they said we cant just go change things and not know the problem lol
