Default My First Nismo

Picked up a BLK 2020 Nismo last month. I debated A/T vs manual for a while, but went with A/T, mostly due to bad knee - I have a 96 Z32 TT 5spd for the times I want to shift. The car has only 5.7K and it's a lot of fun driving. It is pretty old by today's standards, but I love it.

This is my 2nd Nismo. Went with a A/T because I didn't want to deal with the trans issues. Post up some pictures of the new ride.

Nice Z!

I’ll make the request that you also post some pics of the 300ZX TT.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum!
I'm having a rough time uploading pics - "Site Can't be reached" error. I'll try again later.

Basically, it's a BLK/BLK 96TT I purchased used with 35K on the ODO. Replaced wheels and lowered just a tad, did intake and exhaust, JDM front/rear bumper, updated radio to work with my iPod, otherwise it's all stock. It currently has maybe 113K. CEL came ON a couple weeks ago, traced to bad CAS harness - will fix next year when the car comes out of storage.

12/01/21 - still getting Site Can't Be Reached error, so I finally broke down and put some pics on Google photos just to upload here. Please enjoy - these are in random sequence.

Meanwhile, Mr. Admin., how do I fix this photo upload error?

Busted Intercoolers after An Accident.
Rear took off on me when I hit a wet patch making a left turn, on throttle as I was going from 1 -> 2, from a stop light. Went over curb, all 4 wheels were severely damaged. Passenger door and front bumper damaged. No internal/structural damage except for intercooler. Ended up replacing with larger Stillen ones. Good news is that I changed all the old suspension pieces with new OEM ones and car drives way better.

Wheel-Tire Upgrade
SSR Professor SP1. Damaged wheels were same, but silver lips with black center spokes. I believe R:18x10.5; 285/35/18; F:18x9; 255/35/18. Don't recall offsets.

In Storage
I took this just after the accident damage was fixed - new intercoolers not installed.
