Nissan 370Z Forum

Almost bought a BRZ, but got myself a 370Z instead.

You have chosen wisely -- congrats

Well done on the purchase and im sure you will have fun.

Im the opposite and went for the useless cubby hole as I cant stand Nav screens at night when driving, this will probs be my last car without one as the options for a vehicle lacking in a TV screen on the dash are getting more and more limited!

Although I LOVE the BRZ in terms of feel/size/handling, it's hideously under-powered and not even close to the overall package that you decided on IMO. Great choice!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I went and test drove the BRZ first, as my family has been pretty huge on Subaru's for some time (Dad has an STI, mom drives a Forester). I liked it, it was "fun", but had no guts. Got to the Nissan dealership, test drove the Nismo, loved the crap out of it, and bought it.

The Subaru dealership even called me to "make sure I hadn't bought a Nissan", hah!

I different differential? Really? Do you know what the original is and the upgrade? This is interesting.

He means sport package has limited slip diff vs the open one on non sports.
Also I thought the springs were a little stiffer on sport vs non sport.

But OP congrats on purchase. Before I got Z, I debated about FRS and Genesis coupe.

Well whats cool with this navigation screen is the easy access buttons to brightness. I Like controls in my line of sight. The cubby makes the stereo all the way on the bottom. Don't like to look down.

And I gotta say, love the ipod hook up, Bluetooth audio and (still learning) the backup camera.

I've been around. It's stiff, and it also suspension (sport shocks). Also, 19" could be louder and not as comfortable. Is the ride "extremely" rough? Probably not, but it was all adding up so I chose only 1 package and it was navigation. I also like the stock 18" wheels design. I would love to have the VLSD and bigger brakes, but my brakes are good enough and I'm driving just fine in Los Angeles.

Looks good, paint film is a must in my book and you did well to go with full hood. I've already got a chip not far past where my xpel ends.

Oh, that's too bad. Yea, I remember there was a huge chunk chipped right center hood on my other car.
