Default Me and My Z's...

He there...Been into Z's since the seventies and 240Z's....Name one...I owned it..240, 260, 280, 280zx, 300, 300zx, 350, and now the 370Z Sport touring..

Oh man do i love this car..i bought it for the Wife two days ago, and she has not driven it yet..She loved her 350Z, so she will love this Black 2009 with 6000 miles on it...Still smells new...Summer tires not looking great , but i will change them later..Love the big brakes and the speed and handling.

My other car is a numbers matching 1971 Z/28 with a factory LT-1, M-21 close ratio and 3.73 gears. black with white stripes..

Fresh rushforth wheels, Huge 4 wheels willwoods, hotchkis suspension, Coil overs and tubular a arms, and the complete underneath rebuilt..

A true Track monster...I stopped building it, just need the roll bar and seats, because I needed to upgrade the wife's car..sort of a SWAT flash bang to divert here attention, so i can get back to my build.

But guys and gals...i love this 370Z touring sport... you can tell i love speed and handling..This new car is it..

Oh and the 1971 Z/28, i have had since 1983... Mike V.

Hi everyone...

Glad to be here...Had the 350Z for years but never felt the need to join a site..

With the track Beast z/28, i am on with racing buddies, but this 370Z has made me really feel like a got into a Great car...The touring/Sport package is great.

So thanks for the welcome..i will be sharing Camaro stories too from testing and the autocross. Those are approved by the wife although she doesn't like it.why put willwoods and coil overs if you aren't going to use them ? But the new Z, she can never know...

But since i buy the tires and brakes, how would she? Just wear and tear honey...

Oh yes....This has me with a perma grin..370Z Sport/Touring...Happy man am I...

My 425HP Beast is jealous...And angry with me....I will have to beat it for being that way...It just came out of a High end Muscle car shop for the willwoods, coil overs, and complete undercarraige and engine upgrades..

My garage is dripping horsepower, and I gotta say, very cool spring 2012...

Sunday early A.M. is for that...I have some cloverleafs that i spend ten minutes on, rubber smells everywhere...the wife knows..

I won't be able to take the 370Z out in the A.M. on Sunday's becasue she knows exactly where i would go. haha..

Thank you.. I am 52, so ya, they were new back then... Had a friend who did triple weber set ups, and 3.0 liter stroker motors, V-8 swaps, but enough about those cars...

Thank you about my Beast..I have had it since 1983, and now with the new upgrades, it is Insane...But a piece of my history..But Insane.

This new 370Z Touring Sport is very Impressive...I just love it...

The Camaro is a car you take to the track and trailer home if you have too..

The 370Z is the daily driver, just fun everyday Car...Love it

Yes, it is the wife's car but no biggie, we both drive it.

She won't even ride in the Z/28, let alone drive it.

Funny,it scares her because of the Cam, and Insane Indy car sounds at WOT, but "Her" Car is just as fast, hahaha, she doesn't even know it...I like that..

And thanks for the Welcome..

If you hadn't guessed, I am on my Bucket List, so that is why i have gone crazy...

I am 52, this is no mid life crisis..I won't make it to 104, so I am getting seriously busy. mid life may have been years ago, who knows ??

Still need the roll bar and the Corbeau or sparco seats and belts in the Z/28, but i had to pull off that project to satisfy the wife..

Lucky for me too, no complaining here...I am in heaven.. Z Heaven...Both Kinds

Mike V.

So I thought I would update my Introduction.

For those of you not realizing that Life is precious...here goes..

My Name is Mike and I am 52.. Two years ago just as all my financial planning and studies were coming to fruit, I had a TIA, which was followed by a MAJOR Heart infection that could have killed me.. It spit off some debris and it turned into a Partial paralyzing stroke/seizure..A Brain Lesion...

All this while Buying a Home at the bottom, and investing heavily at the bottom..I got both the Top and the Bottom all at once.. Other than health, I have made a great life..

Bucket lists are flying now...You've seen my Car I have had for 28 years. Totally being Track prepared by the best.

Vacations, and memories while I can...Could be here 30 years more or gone today. Yosemite, Mendocino, grand canyon..

Life gets REALLY focused when you see the next Life...

I had the Priest, the Notary, and the Attorney at the bedside...last rites, and the writing of my Will/Trust...

Hello...Write your Will/Trust today....

So I say this for two reasons...To let you know who I am, and to STOP, and really check yourself....

It will happen that fast. To you, or worse, your loved one.. I can't imagine the pain my wife goes through looking at me sometimes.

Anyways, I only lost functions for one day two years ago, so my clutch foot is good..

Hug your kids...Call your mom or Dad...Memories crush Toys.....Take it from me.

Mike V.

It is going to be a LONG countdown... She NEVER got gas in her 350Z..4 years.

Now she is talking about getting gas herself... It won't happen and I just have to wait it out.

I am a patient man....It has served me well so far.

Tick-tock..
