I've had a 350z back in 07 but had to part with it. The 370z is much nicer in my opinion but before I ink the contract I want to make sure the numbers sound about right to you guys.

Well judging from Blue Book value at $32K, It appears to be a pretty good deal, That is about where used ones fit, Seeing that new ones are only a bit above the $32K for touring with the right negotiating, seems fair to me if used is the route you are looking, You could try to search a leftover 10 model out and see if you can get it around $28-29-30K or so as well..just a idea, anyway welcome aboard and good luck!

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. This 370z is in really good condition and the mileage is about right for that year. I'll probably stop over at CarMax today and drive it before throwing the money on the table.

Sport package or not? If so looks like a good deal, just make sure and get it checked out by a mechanic before you sign -- Carmax cars can be hit or miss .. but it should still be under warranty in any event

Good question, not sure if it's sport's package. I don't think it is. Need to find a mechanic local to take it if that's the case. They can probably refer me to one to expedite the sale. The car is still under warranty and they are including their extended warranty at that price point.

Crossing my fingers, that 370 is sexy

If you can get some pics you should be able to tell if it's sport or not. Wing, wheels, brakes, LSD are all good indicators of the sport pgk.

I just picked up my 370 today. Ended up getting it from Carmax for 26 out the door with 31k miles. I walked the car several times and besides some very minimal wear the car looks and drives great.

It reminds me of my 350z I used to have with the way the car whips around, accelerates, and shifts.

I'm going to take it to work and have our ASE guys look it over as I have 5 days to return the car.

The only issue (which may not be an issue) is when I shift in 1st and 2nd I noticed a bit of tranny chatter if my rpms are lower (2-3k). It sounds like the same chatter that I had on my 350z but not sure if I'm the only one who has a noisy tranny.

I hope everything turns out on this car as I really love it. Need to register with the dealers to put the car under warranty in my name and such. Always such a pain in the *** getting a new car, but fun stuff!

A couple of pics..

Congrats! The 1 to 2 shift in the transmission is not always the smoothest. Best thing to do is to match your shift speed to your RPM/Speed -- if you are going slow and easy into 2nd, then shift slow and deliberately. If you are shifting at high revs, shift fast.

One day of driving the car and I love it!

However I was up most of the night freaking out about something on my trade-in. I traded my 2010 Mazdaspeed3 as equity, but I just remembered I had swapped my 2nd cat (non monitored/emissions effecting) with a test pipe.

I know in Texas they can fine you for that and I don't have my original test pipe. I'm not sure if I should call the dealer back and tell them what I just recalled or just wait and see if they call.

Any advice? I'm really letting this stress me out.

On the way home today a range rover hit the driver-side front bumper and scraped it bad.

Dammit not 48 hours and I already have problems. She drove off so I couldn't get her info which really sucks. Looks like I'll be paying to respray the bumper
