Yep, it is a washer. Had it on the 350Z as well. Still can't figure out the use of it as my lights have never been so dirty that the light couldn't pass through

yea, i think they were concerned with whether or not the window washer fluid messed up the appearance of your freshly washed car enough when it came from only the windshield and was spread over your A pillars by the wind. these ensure that once you pull that lever, your entire hood will look filthy!
